Ray Tanner remains undecided on starting pitcher
USC skipper Ray Tanner joined Teddy Heffner on Talkin Sports on Sports Radio 1400 “The Team” this morning to discuss tonight’s College World Series matchup with Virginia. Of course the big question was who Tanner was planning on starting on the mound tonight. What was the answer? Well, as you can hear below Tanner did not give a definitive answer, but he dropped some serious hints that he will be going with ace Michael Roth against the Cavilers.
Tanner said he will make a final decision on a starter by lunch today. The Gamecocks face Virginia at 7:00 tonight at TD Ameritrade Park. If USC wins they advance to the championship series. A loss would force a deciding game Saturday night at 7:00.
