Lewisville High School was scheduled to open its football season this Friday against York but the Lions postponed that game following the death of senior running back Brian Colvin.  Colvin collapsed on the field during a scrimmage Saturday and died a short time later.  

Colvin’s death was the second for a Lewisville athlete in the past two weeks.  Softball palyers and cheerleader Catherine Fowler died in a car crash August 7th. 

Lewisville will now open its season August 27th against Chester.
