Five defeats by a combined 26 points have left Clemson a win short of qualifying for a bowl game with two games left. And at 3-4 in the ACC, the Tigers need a win at Wake Forest Saturday to avoid their first losing league record since 1998.
The defense has done its part rising to the top of the ACC standings allowing just 17.4 points per game. The Tigers have allowed just one touchdown in each of the last five games. But the offense has struggled to score points and the Tigers are only tenth in the league in scoring at 24.9 points per game.
Despite all the problems, the Tigers say they remain together as a team and are focused on winning their last two games.
