East Carolina is second up on the schedule for the USC Gamecocks in 2012.  The Pirates were the opener on the 2011 schedule for South Carolina, playing at Bank of America Stadium, and gave the Gamecocks quite the scare.  The Gamecocks needed a late 2nd-half charge from embattled Quarterback, Stephen Garcia, to get out of Charlotte with a W.  The Pirates need to replace some major parts from last season’s squad to try and contend with USC this season.  Nate explains….

Ball State hit the .500 mark right on the dot last year, going 6-6 in 2011.  Doug believes the Cardinals will be an improved team in 2012, especially on the offensive side of the ball.  The biggest concern for the Cardinals is the fact that even though their defense should be improved, they have such a long way to go, having given up over 40 points a game in 5 games last season.  Doug examines both sides of the ball for us in detail…
