SportsTalk Rewind 10.04.11: Browning Points (AUDIO)

We’re a day late, but we refuse to absolutely fail in bringing you the best NASCAR coverage in South Carolina.  We usually welcome President of Darlington Raceway, Chris Browning, into the show on Monday’s to discuss the “goings-on” in the stock car world, but had some special guests in studio last night.  So, Tuesday became the day for Chris to give us his take on Kurt Busch’s win at Dover, some general thoughts on re-paving a racetrack, and a look at what’s taking place in Darlington.

 The Advocare 500 was suspended Sunday due to inclement weather, and pushed all the way back to this morning.  The wait was well worth it, as two of NASCAR’s titans forgot about the fact they’re teammates and gave fans a show all the way to the checkered flag.  History was made, as Jeff Gordon out-dueled Jimmy Johnson to notch career win number 85.
