Jeff Burton confident he can tame the Lady in Black (AUDIO)

As we continue to count down the days until the green flag drops at the Bojangles Southern 500 at Darlington we present to you an interview with Sprint Cup driver Jeff Burton, driver of the number 31 Chevrolet machine.

Historically, Burton has done well at Darlington. He has two wins and 16 top 10s at the Track Too Tough To Tame. Burton caught up with Teddy Heffner and Rick Sanford on Talking Sports on our affiliate  560 The Team to talk about this weekend’s race.

Saturday night’s race gets started shortly after 7:00.

Boogity, Boogity, Boogity! Darrell Waltrip talks Darlington (AUDIO)

NASCAR legend Darrell Waltrip took time out to talk racin’ with us as we count down the days until the green flag drops at Darlington Saturday night.  Waltrip has a special place in his heart for the “Track Too Tough To Tame” and was more than happy to share some advice for the drivers this week.  Danica Patrick should take note of DW’s tips on how to avoid getting one too many Darlington stripes this weekend. 

We will be posting our interviews with various drivers this week leading up to the Bojangles Southern 500 Saturday night in Darlington.

NASCAR season is finally under way now that we’ve finally completed the Daytona 500 after a lengthy weather delay.  Matt Kenseth comes away the victor of the “Super Bowl” of racing.  Tonight it was our pleasure to welcome in our good friend, and President of Darlington Raceway, Chris Browning, to provide the state with the best stock car racing analysis you can find in South Carolina.
