The Clemson Tigers look to rebound after a tough conference loss on the road at Boston College. The Tigers will welcome the Duke Blue Devils to Littlejohn Coliseum Sunday night, as Clemson looks to improve to 2-1 in the ACC. The Blue Devils lead the overall series 103-29 and have won the past three meetings. Tipoff is at 6:00 and the game will be televised on ESPNU.
The Clemson Tiger basketball team is coming off of their most impressive game of the season, beating Florida State in their ACC opener over the weekend, 79-59. Next up for the Tigers is Boston College tomorrow night at 7:00 in Chestnut Hill. Today Clemson Head Coach, Brad Brownell, spoke with the media to address his teams progress, and of course look ahead to tomorrow night’s matchup against the Eagles.

The USC basketball team had won 6-of-7 games headed into their weekend showdown, and SEC opener, against Kentucky. The Gamecocks lost to the #2 Wildcats, 79-64, Saturday afternoon in Lexington. Tomorrow the Gamecocks will try to rebound and pick up their first league win when Vanderbilt visits the Colonial Life Arena at 9:00. Today Gamecock Head Coach, Darrin Horn, spoke to the media about the loss to Kentucky, and the upcoming game against the Commodores.

Last night was a night loaded with basketball state-wide basketball coverage. After we welcomed Coastal’s Cliff Ellis to the program, we decided that one coach just wouldn’t do, so moments later we dialed up Newberry Head Coach, Dave Davis. Davis is in second year at Newberry after spending the previous 14 seasons coaching at Pfeiffer University. The Wolves are making a name for themselves in the South Atlantic Conference running a high-octane, fast paced offense. We talk about Davis’ basketball philosophy, go in to detail about this year’s team, and of course, talk about the b-ball hotbed that is…..Iceland.
Last night we welcomed into SportsTalk Head Coach of the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers, Cliff Ellis. Coach Ellis just notched win 700 of his career, Tuesday night, when his squad beat the Citadel, 80-58 at Kimbel Arena. We discussed Ellis’ emotions once the milestone victory became official. We take a look back at his illustrious career, and also took the time to talk about this years’ squad; one that many who have been around the Chants on a regular basis are calling Ellis’ best team yet in Conway.
