Boston College opened the final quarter with another stalled drive, and was forced to punt back to the Tigers.
Clemson took over at the 13 minute mark at their own 42. There was a Joe Craig sighting as he and Stoudt connected on a 8 yard completion. Bellamy had two short carries, Stoudt connected with Brandon Ford, and then Andre Ellington exploded for a 35 yard TD run to make the score 36-14 Clemson.
The Eagles took over and drove down to the Tigers 31 yard line. Kourtnei Brown and Andre Branch each had sacks on the series causing a frenzy from the crowd, and the drive finished with Clemson stopping the Eagles on 4th and 7.
Clemson proceeded to go 3 and out, and the Eagles did not do much better on the ensuing drive. The Tigers stopped the Eagles on 4th down once again, and the Tigers took a knee to end regulation.
Clemson finished the game with 500 yards of offense compared to only allowing 258 for BC. The Tigers had not scored an offensive TD versus the Eagles since 2008, and added 3 today. The Tiger D had 4 more sacks on the day, and the offense had no turnovers in the game.
