USC has dismissed redshirt freshman defensive back Victor Hampton from the football team for a violation of team rules. Hampton has been in and out of the doghouse for most of his USC career. He missed most of spring practice this year because of academic issues.
According to a source he was dismissed from the team for failing to meet academic and workout requirements. Hampton was on a short leash and failed to do what the coaching staff required so he was booted from the squad.
Hampton confirmed the news on his Twitter feed this afternoon. We’ve posted it in context and edited the explicit language.
“this (**EXPLICIT**) crazy shawty this morning they hit me with this (EXPLICIT) no call no nuthn showed they tru colors”
Hampton redshirted last season and has never played a snap. He was expected to factor in the secondary roation this season.
Last week on SportsTalk Steve Spurrier said “one or two” guys weren’t doing what they were asked and that he would take care of it. It looks like in Hampton’s case he has.

bahahaha. spurrier wouldn’t do that to his precious quarterback that he needs to win games. the one that has been suspended five freakin times. why didn’t the backup corner get 5 strikes steve? what a hypocrite
Is that what he really said on his Twitter. That looked like a joke the grammatical part of it anyway. How could he have passed his high school exit exam with such horrid linguistics.
Houston grow some balls of your own and read up on the situation before chatting about it. You’re a typical hypocrite in your own right. Why don’t you back up your pathetic comments with some decent facts.
