Furman running back Tersoo Uhaa, wide receiver Adam Mims, and linebacker Kadarron Anderson have been named 2010 College Sporting News Preseason All-Americans, it was announced today.
Uhaa, a junior from Gainesville, Ga., who rushed for a team leading 535 yards and 13 touchdowns in 2009, was a first team selection while Anderson, a junior from Greenwood, and Mims, a senior from Birmingham, Ala., were second team selections.
Anderson, a 2009 first team All-Southern Conference pick, paced the Paladins with 123 tackles a year ago. Mims, meanwhile, pulled in a Furman season record 74 passes for 878 yards and four touchdowns last fall. He heads into the 2010 campaign as Furman’s all-time receptions leader (143) and is a two-time All-SoCon pick as both a receiver and return specialist.
Furman opens its 2010 season on Sept. 11 when it entertains Colgate in a 2:00 p.m. game at Paladin Stadium.
