Clemson baseball coach Jack Leggett is expected to hire one of his former players, Tennessee assistant Bradley LeCroy, to replace Tom Riginos a source said Tuesday afternoon. Riginos is now the head coach at Winthrop.
The source thought the announcement would come on Tuesday but apparently all of the paperwork and background checks had not been completed.
LeCroy is a Walhalla native who has been the recruiting coordinator and infielders coach at Tennessee the past four seasons. The 32 year old played at Clemson from 1997-2000.
