Ralph Friedgen faces big task as he tries to return Terps to prominence
Maryland key pre-season notes:
- 14 starters are back with 7 on offense and 5 on defense
- 7 of the Terps 10 losses last season were by 11 points or fewer
- Jamarr Robinson and Danny O’Brien will contend for starting QB job
- 9 of the top 10 receivers from last year are back
- Only 1 starter returns on the defensive line
- Only 1 starter returns in the secondary
