- The Eagles have made 11 straight bowl trips
- The return of LB Mark Herzlich from cancer treatments will bolster the overall team
- 26 year old Dave Shinskie returns at quarterback
- Shinskie threw for 2049 yards and 15 touchdowns last season
- Four starters return on the offensive line
