6-7 forward Murphy Holloway said this afternoon Ole Miss has notified him that it will not release him to transfer to either USC or Clemson. Holloway said he gave Ole Miss a list of schools he would like to transfer to. On that list were USC, Clemson, Winthrop, Coastal Carolina, Charleston Southern, Presbyterian and the College of Charleston.
Ole Miss released him for all the other schools except USC and Clemson. Holloway said he has told Ole Miss he will appeal that decision. He will either make his appeal in person or thru a conference call within the next two weeks.
Holloway said he’s already been contacted by Coastal Carolina.
