Clemson and Missouri will meet in the first round of the NCAA tournament Friday afternoon in Buffalo, New York. I thought now might be a good time to show you a little bit about the team from “The Show Me State”.

He uses a very similar style of play to Richardson’s “40 minutes of hell” and it has been very successful at Mizzou.

Missouri is finished the season with a 22-10 record. The Tigers were 10-6 in the Big 12 and finished 6th in the final conference standings. They lost to last place Nebraska in their conference tournament last week. The Tigers are lead in scoring by sophomore guard Kim English, who is averaging 13.9 points per game. Marcus Denmon and Laurence Bowers are both averaging just over 10 points per game as well.
There are just three seniors on the Tigers squad. There are two juniors, three freshman and five sophomores on the team.
The Tigers are scoring an average of 77.6 points per game and allowing 65.8 per contest. They were 16-2 at home this season and 4-6 on the road. They were 2-2 at neutral sites.
As far as their resume’ goes, the Tigers have wins over Kansas State and Texas this season. They have losses against Richmond and Vanderbilt. Kansas beat them badly both times they played (84-65 in Lawrence and 77-56 in Columbia).
