Wofford basketball coach Mike Young Thursday was named the Southern Conference Coach of the Year by the league’s sports media association. Gaffney native Donald Sims of Appalachian State was named the leagues’ Player of the Year. Sims is joined on the all conference first team by Andrew Goudelolck of the College of Charleston, Cameron Wells of The Citadel and Noah Dahlman of Wofford.
