Kyle Parker back at QB
Clemson released the dates Wednesday for its spring football practices. The Tigers will hold their first workout this Sunday at 3:30. It will be closed to the public. The next four practices…March 8, 10, 22 & 24 will be open to the public. The other practice days are March 26, 27, 29, 31, and April 2, 3, 5, 7 and 8. The Spring Game is set for April 10th with a 10:00 AM kickoff.
I am glad to see Kyle Parker back at QB. I cannot wait for the first Spring game.
It will be interesting to see if Parker is with the football team for the spring game or with the baseball team for its game at Duke that weekend. Or perhaps he will try to play in both. Time will tell.

I think if Parker is a first or second round pick in the June MLB draft (as many scouts have him projected) he will have a tough choice to make. Parker is a very good college quarterback and if he stays I have no doubt he will be a great one. However, with at his size, he does not project to be a highly rated pro quarterback prospect. I’m not saying he isn’t good enough to play in the NFL, but most guys his size that aren’t named Drew Brees don’t play quarterback at his size.
It will be a good story to follow this spring and summer for sure.
