Atlanta Braves reliever Jeff Bennett fought the wall and the wall won.  The struggling pitcher broke a bone in his non-pitching hand when he punched a door near the dugout after last night’s loss to the Yankees.

Bennett has been placed on the 15-day disabled list and will be replaced on the roster by lefty Boone Logan.  Logan has beenin AAA Gwinnett.

Bennett is 8-3 with a 5.25 ERA over the past 11 games.
